Carolyn Taylor Pates Enterprizes, Inc. of South Dade Counties is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2009 with a mission to serve families, seniors, and individuals in need across South Dade. Through food assistance, senior programs, and transportation aid, we work to bring dignity, hope, and resources to those experiencing hardship. Our founder, Carolyn Taylor Pates, built this organization on the values of compassion, community, and hands-on service.
Our weekly food pantry supports over 330 families with groceries, fresh produce, and essentials, thanks to longstanding partnerships with organizations like Farm Share, Feeding South Florida, BJ’s, and Publix. In response to growing need, we’ve expanded our outreach through five local churches and other trusted community hubs. Beyond food, our senior support program at CHI Naranja Senior Center of Excellence provides free health screenings, educational activities, art classes, field trips, and lunch to more than 50 seniors and people with disabilities every Monday.
We’re also proud to assist residents through the Miami-Dade Disadvantaged Easy Bus Pass program, helping seniors, youth, and low-income individuals stay mobile and connected. With the help of local volunteers, donors, and community leaders, we continue to grow our impact—uplifting lives across South Dade one family at a time.
To restore dignity, hope, and opportunity by supporting South Dade’s most vulnerable through food, wellness, and community-based services.
A thriving community where no family goes hungry, no senior feels forgotten, and every individual has access to the support they need to live with dignity.
