At Carolyn Taylor Pates Enterprizes, Inc., we are committed to meeting the essential needs of families and individuals across South Dade. Our services are designed to bring relief, dignity, and opportunity to those facing food insecurity, mobility issues, or social isolation.
We provide fresh food and pantry staples to over 330 families every week in South Dade. Donations come from generous partners like Farm Share, BJ’s, Publix, Walmart, and other local grocers.
Our distribution sites include local churches and community hubs to make food more accessible for those without reliable transportation. Volunteers help pack and distribute items including fresh produce, bread, canned goods, and essentials for families in need. This service is completely free and driven by compassion.
Our senior support program creates a safe, welcoming space for adults aged 50+ and those living with disabilities. Every Monday, seniors enjoy free health screenings (blood pressure, glucose, etc.), nutritious lunches, arts and crafts, computer classes, movies, and occasional field trips.
Held at the CHI Naranja Senior Center of Excellence, the program encourages wellness, creativity, learning, and social connection—all at no cost. Transportation is provided for participants who need help getting to the center.
Getting to work, school, or appointments shouldn’t be a barrier. Through the Miami-Dade Disadvantaged Easy Bus Pass Program, we distribute free monthly transit passes to qualified individuals who are 100% below the federal poverty line.
This service supports low-income seniors, young adults, and families who rely on public transportation for daily needs. Our team helps guide applicants through the process, making mobility more accessible to those who need it most.
